BCSA approves new training programs to enhance governance
QUETTA, Sep 13 (APP):The Balochistan Civil Services Academy (BCSA) in Quetta convened its 8th Ad-hoc Curriculum Committee meeting, chaired by Director General Dr. Hafeez Ahmed Jamali, to review and approve new training programs designed to strengthen the professional capacity of government officers.
The meeting was attended by senior officials, education experts, and representatives of relevant departments. The committee approved a 12-week professional training program for engineers and sub-divisional officers of the Communication, Construction, Physical Planning and Housing departments, an 8-week program for superintendents and office coordinators of the Services and General Administration Department, and the first pre-service training program for assistant commissioners and section officers.
Committee members included Dosteen Khan Jamaldini, Abdullah Khan, Dr. Javed Anwar Shahwani, Dr. Faisal Khan, Syed Ghaus Ali Shah, Rahmatullah Changazi, and Nazar Muhammad Kakar, while special invitees were Muhammad Rafiq Raisani, Muhammad Rafiq, and Dr. Ali Nawaz Baloch.
The training initiatives aim to align officers’ professional, administrative, technical, and digital skills with modern governance requirements, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and accountability. The BCSA reaffirmed its commitment to improving the standards of public service and promoting effective governance across Balochistan.
