Balochistan Board announces intermediate annual examination 2026 results

QUETTA, Jul 20 (APP): The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Quetta has announced the results of the Intermediate Annual Examination 2026. A total of 99,946 students appeared in the examinations, of which 88,944 were declared successful, reflecting an overall pass percentage of 89.

In the 11th grade, 46,356 students sat for the exams and 39,902 passed, with a success rate of 86.1 percent. In the 12th grade, 53,590 students appeared and 49,042 were successful, marking a pass percentage of 91.5. Results of 542 students were withheld due to the use of unfair means during the examinations.

The examinations were conducted across 257 centers, with 854 teachers serving as supervisory staff and 151 officers performing monitoring duties. The top positions were secured by Ayesha Khan, daughter of Ghazanfar Ali, from Islamia Girls College Quetta, who obtained 1067 marks and stood first; Rasad Khan, son of Nematullah, from BRC Loralai, who achieved 1064 marks and secured second position; and Sadia, daughter of Tahir Kamran, also from Islamia Girls College Quetta, who scored 1061 marks and stood third.

Chairman Muhammad Ishaq, Controller Dr. Zia-ul-Haq Kakar, and Secretary Zia-ur-Rehman Khilji congratulated all successful students, particularly the position holders, and expressed their best wishes for their future. They emphasized that the nation has high expectations from these young achievers and hoped they would continue to work hard to bring pride to the province and the country. Controller Dr. Zia-ul-Haq Kakar also extended gratitude to the teachers of Balochistan and the Board staff, especially the IT Section, Research Section, Examination Department, Result Branch, and special inspection teams, for their support in conducting the exams and preparing results in record time.

For students’ convenience, the Board announced that the recounting application process has been made fully online. Students may submit applications for recounting within fifteen days of the result announcement, by August 5, 2026, without waiting for the issuance of the original Detailed Marks Certificate.
