BAHAWALPUR, Oct 13 (APP):A delegation of Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry called on Federal Minister for Housing and Infrastructure Development, Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema and discussed with him the matters
pertaining to industrial development and business activities.
The delegation headed by president of Bahawalpur Chamber of
Commerce and Industry, Mubashar Hussain included other office-bearers and
members of the executive committee- Muhammad Aslam, Malik Muhammad Aijaz,
Ahsan-Ul-Haq Chaudhry, Zulfiqar Ali, Muhammad Illyas Khan, Javed Iqbal Chaudhry
and Syed Haider. The delegation informed the minister about problems and issues
confronted by industrialists and traders of Bahawalpur region.
The delegation requested the minister to play his
significant role in removal of hindrances in completion of ongoing project of
Bahawapur Industrial Estate. The minister ensured them that he would raise the
issue with the authorities concerned. He informed the delegation that the
government was going to start work on construction of five million houses for
homeless people. He said the mega project would provide facility of home to a
large number of people.
