Imran seeks report on LB polls defeat

LAHORE, Nov 1 (APP): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief
Imran Khan on Sunday sought a report on PTI’s defeat in first
phase of Local Bodies elections in 12 districts of Punjab.
According to PTI sources, the PTI will have a detailed
review of the results and the report. In the light of report,
the future line of action would be announced later.
On late night of Saturday, talking to the media, PTI Punjab
Organiser Ch Muhammad Sarwar said the PTI, despite some reservations, contested LB polls for the sake of democracy, adding the party would maintain the same spirit during the next phases as well. It may be mentioned that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz
(PML-N), as per unofficial results, remained on top.
