ISLAMABAD, Nov 3 (APP): The Election Commission of
Pakistan (ECP) has directed State Minister for Water and Power Abid
Sher Ali, his father Chaudhary Sher Ali, MPA Mian Tahir Jameel,
District Coordination Officer (DCO) and City Police Officer (CPO) to
submit written reply on Wednesday, over alleged violations of
elections code of conduct.
A four-member commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner
Justice (retd) Sardar Raza Khan resumed hearing into the purported
violation of code of conduct issued by the electoral body for the
local government election.
The Minister of state for power and water Abid Sher Ali with
his father Sher Ali appeared before the Election Commission and said
that they did not violate the code of conduct issued for LG elections.
ECP directs Abid Sher Ali to submit written reply till Wednesday
