CHAKWAL, Oct 31 (APP): Returning Officer Chakwal has announced the
results of 18 wards, according to which Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz
(PML-N) won 13 seats, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) won 3 seats and independent candidates won 2 seats.
In the first phase of Local Bodies elections of district Chakwal Ward
No. 1, according to unofficial result independent candidate Ansar Mehmood won by getting 753 votes for the General Councillor seat while PML-N Malik Noor Husain got 595 votes.
According to unofficial result of Ward No. 2 for the General Councillor
seat independent candidate Ch. Wasim Zafar won by getting 381 votes while PML-N Naveed Akhtar got 287 votes. According to unofficial result of Ward No. 3 for the General Councillor seat PML-N candidate Maqbool Ahmed won
with 465 votes while PTI candidate Haji Muhammad Bashir got 279 votes. According to unofficial result of Ward No. 4 for the General Councillor
seat PML-N candidate Abid Hussain Minhas won by getting 434 votes while
PTI candidate Mazhar Hussain got 309 votes. According to unofficial
result of Ward No. 5 for the General Councillor seat PML-N candidate Ch. Shakeel Ahmed won by getting 841 votes while PTI candidate Abdul Khaliq
got 272 votes. According to unofficial result of Ward No. 6 for the
General Councillor seat PTI candidate Alhaj Muhammad won by getting 416 votes while PML-N candidate Ch. Aurangzab got 329 votes. According to unofficial result of Ward No. 7 for the General Councillor seat PML-N candidate Zulfiqar Hussain won by getting 603 votes while PTI candidate Malik Mukhtar Hussain got 133 votes.
