Campaigning for LB polls by political parties in Sukkur

SUKKUR, Oct 27 (APP): Campaigning by political parties for first phase
of local government election is in full swing in Sukkur to be held on October 31.
Currently, political parties and independent groups are holding corner meetings and door-to-door campaigns to drum up support for their respective candidates.
They have also formed committees to hold talks with like minded groups
to get support for the upcoming polls.

Shaikh claimed that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has field the honest candidates and would sweep the elections.
He said the PPP was hopeful of winning elections as the party carried
out small and mega uplift schemes of billions of rupees in the region.
Javed Memon, candidate of Chairman Union Council 4, said he was
optimistic about a positive change not only in the Sukkur but in the whole Sindh after the October 31 elections. He said people of Sukkur were now more politically aware and will vote for only those who could effectively raise their voice.
Parties and independent candidates have decorated their election offices and hundreds of tents with flags, banners and posters with their pictures. Candidates have also assigned responsibilities to their supporters to conduct tent to tent campaign not only to introduce them to potential voters but also spread awareness among the women about the electoral process.
