Education minister inaugurates renovation of 167 schools

ISLAMABAD, May 21 (APP): Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui inaugurated the renovation of 167 Schools in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that under the project Provision of Missing Facilities in Educational Institutes of FDE in ICT we are going to renovate 167 schools in rural and urban areas of ICT.
Dr. Khalid said to address the issue of literacy in less developed areas of Pakistan 6 new schools will be established in Balochistan. He said that Daanish Schools will be established at Balochistan including Sibi, Musakhel, Zhob, Baiker, Dera bugti and Killa Saifullah.
Education Minister said this is our symbol of our unwavering commitment to advancing education in all of Pakistan. Today marks not just the opening of new opportunities but also a gateway into a bright future. This initiative is part of our broader vision under the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training to expand access, enhance quality, and ensure equity in education.
The newly renovated college in one of Islamabad’s growing sectors reaffirms our focus on neighbourhood-based, accessible education for girls allowing them to pursue academic excellence in a safe, modern, and well-equipped environment.
The IMCG F-10/2 campus includes, state-of-the-art IT labs, well-resourced libraries, spacious renovated classrooms and hall, culture room and pod cast room and renovated infrastructure with washrooms, electricity, doors and windows.
Khalid Maqbool said we are aware that the strength of any nation lies in its human capital and no investment yields higher returns than one made in the education of our daughters. Through this institution, we aim to nurture the next generation of doctors, engineers, educators, scientists, and leaders.
