NEW YORK, Mar 30 (APP): US Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney joined Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Maleeha Lodhi, and representatives of Pakistani-American organizations at a solemn meeting on Tuesday held to mourn the loss of scores of innocent lives in Sunday’s horrific terrorist attack in Lahore. Ms. Maloney, a Democrat from New York, brought Dr. Lodhi flowers, a gesture of solidarity between their two countries. The condolence meeting, which was organized organized by the Pakistan Mission to UN, began with offering `fateha’ and a moment of silence for the victims of the attack in which 72 people, mostly women and children, were killed. Hundreds more were wounded.
