MIRPUR, May 16 (APP):Azad Jammu Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has condemned India’s actions in Pahalgam, calling it a “false flag operation” aimed at violating Pakistan’s territorial integrity. Addressing a reception ceremony in Kotli on Friday, Chaudhry praised Pakistan’s armed forces for thwarting India’s evil designs through Operation Bunyan al-Marsous.
The President lauded the Pakistan Air Force for shooting down five Indian warplanes and destroying their war machinery. He said the Modi government’s Hindutva policies and war madness have been exposed globally. Chaudhry also criticized India’s alleged involvement in terrorist activities worldwide, citing the murder of Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Najjar in Canada by Indian RAW agents.
Chaudhry urged the international community to take notice of India’s war crimes and play a role in stopping its aggression. He welcomed US President Donald Trump’s mediation offer to resolve the Kashmir issue, saying it brought global attention to the dispute and debunked India’s narrative that Kashmir is an internal issue.
The President emphasized that durable peace in South Asia depends on resolving the Kashmir issue according to UN resolutions. He stressed the need for tripartite talks involving Kashmiri leadership to find a lasting solution. Chaudhry commended the Pakistan Army for successfully executing Operation Bunyan al-Marsous, which compelled India to seek a ceasefire.
