Qalam Karwan hosts online session on role of Sufis in protecting Islamic states

ISLAMABAD, May 09 (APP):Qalam Karwan hosted a virtual session titled “Lahron Ke Dosh Par” of Aalmi Halqa Zikr-o-Fikr  on role of Sufis in protecting Islamic states.
The session was presided over by renowned Islamic scholar, researcher and poet Dr Yasir Hussain Satti Al-Khairi from Islamabad, said a press release on Friday.
The keynote speaker for the event was Mumtaz Taimoor from Pakpattan Sharif, who delivered an insightful address on the topic “The Role of Sufi Saints in the Protection of Islamic States.”
He highlighted the contributions of prominent Sufi figures and spiritual centers during their eras, emphasizing their active participation.
At the end, he elaborated on the political and military roles played by Sufis during their eras and expressed his firm support for Pakistan amidst the ongoing regional tensions with India.
Participants from across Pakistan and various other countries attended the session.
The event featured a lively question and answer segment, followed by audience comments.
