ISLAMABAD, Apr 26 (APP):The government is all set to submit final draft policy on cyber crime in the up-coming fiscal year for approval of the Federal Cabinet, prepared in consultation with all stakeholders.
“Extensive efforts have been undertaken for the formulation of cyber governance policy aimed
at developing secure and resilient cyber space”, said Advisor to Prime Minister on Finance Miftah Ismail
while launching the Economic Survey of Pakistan, here on Thursday.
He informed that the Prime Minister designated the Minister of Information Technology
with the lead role for providing policy inputs on issues related to cyber governance.
In this regard, a high level Cyber Governance Policy Committee was constituted with the
mandate to carry out consultations on aspects related to cyber governance on a regular and permanent basis, he briefed.
