MIRPUR (AJK), April 26 (APP): AJK Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan visited House of Commons, lower house of the British Parliament in London Wednesday and apprised the MPs about current critical situation of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK) following the increased human rights violations by the Indian occupying forces.
The meeting of the AJK Prime Minister with the British Parliament members was managed by Raja Najabat Hussain,Chairman Jammu Kashmir Self Determination Movement International, said a message received here on Thursday.
The meeting was attended among others by Chris Leslie MP Chairman All Party Parliamentary Group on Kashmir in the British Parliament, Deputy Chairman Jack Brereton MP, Vice Chairman Barrister Imran Hussain MP, Shadow foreign Minister For Europe Khalid Mahmood MP, Shadow Justice Minister Barrister Yasmin Qureshi MP, Shadow Immigration Minister Afzal Khan MP, Mohammad Yasin MP, Former MP Julie Hilling, Raja Zubair Iqbal Kiani President PML-N AJK (UK), Malik Javid Ahmed Chairman International Human Rights Federation, Mrs Tehmina Sadiq Vice
President PMLN AJK,Secretary General PML (N) AJK, Women Wing (UK Chapter) Ms Shahida Jarral from London, Raja Ijaz Mehmood of London, Ms Shamaila Mahmood, Raja Ghazanfar Khan, Raja Toseef Kiani, Raja Shafiq Ahmed Chairman PMLN AJK (UK Chapter) and others.
Prime Minister of AJK briefed the British Parliamentarians of the increased aggressive posture of India in the region including the planned genocide and target killing of the innocent Kashmiris in the bleeding valley of IoK besides the frequent incidents of the unprovoked Indian firing on the line of control facing Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Farooq Haider sought due role of Britain in getting the Indian brutalities stopped in occupied Jammu Kashmir, where people of the state have launched struggle for liberation of the motherland from Indian yoke.
The host of the meeting Raja Najabat Hussain Chairman JKSDMI on this occasion thanked the Farooq Haider Khan and MPs. Nijabat gave away to the Prime Minister, 12- point suggestions authored by his Jammu Kashmir Self Determination Movement International for lobbying and mustering maximum support of the international community for early peaceful settlement of Kashmir issue in line with the aspirations of the people of the erstwhile Jammu Kashmir.
The PM AJK gave away the Shields of honor to the British Parliamentarians in acknowledgment
of their continued unflinching support to the Kashmir
cause β Kashmiris legitimate right to self determination.
