ISLAMABAD, Apr 25 (APP):Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Wednesday said Pakistan’s relations with Russia in defence and economic sector were improving gradually.
Besides other sectors, Russia was also showing keen interest in the energy projects, he said while talking to a private news channel.
Pakistan’s interest was inter-linked with Russia, China and Turkey, he said.
Discussions were underway with Russian counterpart regarding cooperation in war against terrorism, he said.
Commenting on China Pakistan Economic Corridor, he said China had invested about 60 billion dollars, but now Russia was expressing its interest in the energy field, he said.
To a question he said enhancing relations with Russia was part of our foreign policy.
