ISLAMABAD, Apr 10 (APP):Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Media Affairs Senator Dr Musadik Malik on Tuesday said that people were fully supporting the struggle of Nawaz Sharif for sanctity of vote.
Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was creating awareness among the masses for sanctity of vote, he said while talking to a news channel.
The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), was fully united under the flag of the party and Nawaz Sharif, he said.
Commenting on a few members of national and provincial assembly leaving the party, he said such members do not have ideology and they were joining the other parties just to gain personal interest, he added.
Leaving the party over the matter of establishing new province was very strange, he said. He added that the matter of new province never raised at the forum of assemblies.
To a question he said Nawaz Sharif and his party believe in rule of law.
Dr Musadik Malik said that former prime minister was disqualified on having “Iqama” but not on corruption charges.
He said expressing reservation over the decision of court was the right of Nawaz Sharif who always respected the courts.
