Mastermind behind terrorist acts in Quetta arrested: Bizenjo

QUETTA, Apr 03 (APP):Balochsitan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo Tuesday said law enforcement agencies had arrested the mastermind, Fazal Haq, who was involved in attacks on security forces and other terrorist activities in different areas of Quetta.
Addressing a press conference, he said Fazal Haq was arrested from Sheikh Manda area of Quetta in a joint action by security forces, including police, Levies, Frontier Corps and other law enforcement agencies.
He said during initial investigations, the terrorist had confessed his involvement in at least 11 target killings and terrorist acts. He seemed to behind increased terrorist acts in Quetta during last few months, he added.
The chief minister said law enforcement agencies were trying to arrest his other colleagues. Fazal Haq had also confirmed that a woman was also involved in terrorist activities, he added.
He said India and Afghanistan were behind terrorist acts in Pakistan as they were providing financial support to terrorists for destabilizing Balochistan.
Replying a question, he said the arrested terrorist had also confessed that he was a member of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan.
The chief minister strongly condemned the target killing of some four members of the Christian community on Monday. The law enforcement agencies, he said, were making efforts to arrest those involved in the act.
