SUKKUR, Feb 14 (APP):A meeting of Zarai Taraqiati Bank (ZTBL) officials was held at a local hotel in Sukkur on Friday, presided over by CEO Tahir Yaqoob Bhatti. The meeting was also attended by Chaudhry Salahuddin.
Addressing the gathering, CEO Tahir Yaqoob Bhatti emphasized the importance of providing financial assistance to farmers and adhering to the principles of honesty and integrity. He stressed the need to control unnecessary expenses and follow rules and regulations to ensure career advancement.
During the meeting, regional branch heads, managers, and MCOs from Sukkur, Larkana, and Balochistan were awarded for their outstanding performance. The awardees included Nazakat Ali Ujjan, Javed Hussain, Hamid Jan Kakar, Naseem Akhtar Sheikh, Sajjad Ali Awan, and others.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, CEO Tahir Yaqoob Bhatti said that ZTBL has a long-standing relationship with farmers, aiming to provide easy loans to facilitate maximum crop production and contribute to the country’s economy. He highlighted the bank’s efforts to support farmers, citing Pakistan’s economy’s significant dependence on agriculture.
CEO Bhatti also mentioned that ZTBL has achieved a profit of Rs. 20 billion last year, with a saving of Rs. 12.5 million. He emphasized the importance of hard work, integrity, and transparency in achieving these goals.
