NOWSHERA, Feb 12 (APP):Deputy Commissioner (DC) Nowshera, Irfanullah Mehsud, along with Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Bashir Ahmed on Wednesday officially launched the Spring Tree Plantation Campaign under the Billion Tree Plus Program (BTPP) by planting a sapling at his office.
Speaking on the occasion, DC Nowshera emphasized that the district administration, in collaboration with the Forest Department, has devised a comprehensive plan to plant 178,000 trees during this spring season.
He assured that not only will this target be met, but a well-structured strategy is also in place to ensure the campaign’s success.
He urged civil society, students, traders, and both public and private institutions to actively participate in the plantation drive and contribute towards making it a success.
