Ameer Muqam stresses early completion of NTDC projects in KPK

LAHORE, Mar 22 (APP):Advisor to Prime Minister Engineer Ameer Muqam has stressed the National Transmission & Dispatch
Company to complete different projects in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) on urgent basis so that people could enjoy the fruits of these projects.

Presiding over a meeting at Wapda House here on Thursday, he gave targets to the NTDC for completion of several projects.

He said that KVA-220 Grid Station at Mansehra should be completed till March 30, KVA-220 Grid Station at Chakdara till April 30, KVA 15-220 Grid station at Dera Ismail Khan till June while KVA-220 Grid Station at Noshehra should be completed till July of the current year at any cost.

He ordered for issuing rest of the tenders of Tajikistan- Afghanistan and Pakistan Transmission Line as soon as possible.
He also ordered for starting work on KVA-500 Convertor at Nowshehra immediately.
Giving directions for completion of augmentation of Sheikh Muhammadi Peshawar and Mardan grid stations till April 15, he said that KVA-220 Jamrood and KVA-220 Kohat should be included in PSDP during this year by focusing on the needs of KPK citizens.
He said that completion of grid stations and transmission lines ensured the relief to people.
Ameer Muqam said that people have to face 15-hour load shedding daily and, therefore, work on the projects should be expedited.
He appreciated the MD NTDC Zafar Abbas and his team for their performance.
