ISLAMABAD, Mar 15 (APP):Minister of State for Power
Division Abid Sher Ali Thursday said the public would elect their representatives in the upcoming general elections, keeping in view their performance.
Talking to media-persons outside the Parliament House, the minister said that Senate elections would have no impact on next general elections as the masses would not give vote on financial gains.
Abid Sher Ali said in the past masses had rejected the politicians on performance and gave vote to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
The minister said that PML-N would go to public based on its performance and expressed confidence that his party would
win the next elections with a thumping majority.
To a question, Abid Sher Ali said public, being the ‘democratic force,’ had the mandate to elect their representatives and they would exercise their right to vote in the upcoming elections.
