CTP establishes driving training school for female students at PMAS-Arid University

RAWALPINDI, Jan 22 (APP):City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi has established a driving training school for female students at Pir Mehar Ali Shah (PMAS)-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi.
According to a CTP spokesman, CTP on the special directives of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi, Beenish Fatima, established a driving training school to facilitate the female students studying at PMAS-Arid Agriculture University.
The spokesman informed that the training school has been established to provide safe, easy and professional driving training to the female students within their educational institution so that they could not only become responsible drivers but also stay safe from road accidents following traffic rules.
All such students who are unable to go to a driving training school along with their studies would be facilitated at this facility, he added.
28 female students have started receiving driving training in first batch of the school established at the university, he said adding, the female students are being trained in modern and safe methods under the supervision of expert female instructors.
The CTO informed that this initiative is to provide a safe and supportive environment to the female students where they could learn the principles of the driving.
This project is not only a driving training facility for the female students but also an important effort to make the learners aware of the traffic rules.
CTP Rawalpindi is making efforts to empower women and ensure smooth flow of traffic on the city roads.
