ISLAMABAD, Jan 21 (APP):The governing body of National Press Club (NPC) on Tuesday congratulated the newly elected members of Rawalpindi-Islamabad Photojournalists Association (RIPJA) in election 2025.
NPC governing body including President Azhar Jatoi, Secretary Nayyar Ali, Finance Secretary Waqar Abbasi and all members expressed hope that the elected members would continue to play their role in resolving the issues faced by photojournalists across the country, said a press release.
The newly elected members of RIPJA included President Sajjad Haider, General Secretary Sohail Shahzad, Finance Secretary Muhammad Asim, Senior Vice President Jahangir Chaudhry, Vice President Chaudhry Javed Mudassar, Secretary Information Syed Mehdi, Joint Secretary Faisal Khan, members of the governing Body Rizwan Khan, Habib Sheikh, Raja Zafar, Hanif Khattak, Abid Zia, Sultan Bashir and Tahir Kazmi, and others.
NPC officials also showed confidence on newly elected office bearers and expected that they will continue to strive in a better way for the promotion of high journalistic values and freedom of the press.
