PESHAWAR, Jan 16 (APP):The Anti Corruption department booked three accused and lodged FIR against former Tehsil Nazim, Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO), and several other officers over significant irregularities and misuse of authority in the tendering process at TMA Jehangira, district Nowshera.
According to Anti Corruption department the mismanagement had led to an estimated loss of Rs 8.3 million to the public exchequer.
It said that the arrested suspects included former TMA officials Zeeshan, Bahadur, and Imtiaz.
Further investigation was underway and more arrests were also expected.
