BATTAGRAM, Jan 15 (APP):Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Hazara, Nasir Mehmood Satti Wednesday has lauded the Dispute Resolution Council (DRC) for its pivotal role in fostering peace and resolving societal issues through peaceful means.
During his visit to Battagram, DIG Satti met with the DRC cabinet and commended their dedication to public service.
Addressing the meeting, DIG Satti appreciated the DRC members for voluntarily dedicating their time to provide free and swift justice to the community, emphasizing their commitment to serving for the sake of Allah’s pleasure. He highlighted that the council’s transparent operations have strengthened public trust, as DRCs continue to resolve conflicts and promote reconciliation.
He further noted the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police’s commitment to expanding the DRC’s reach and prioritizing the resolution of cases referred to these councils. He assured full police support to enhance the effectiveness and functionality of the system.
Chairman DRC Battagram, Sher Bahadur Khan, presented a detailed briefing on the council’s performance and the challenges it faces. DIG Satti praised the DRC’s efforts and pledged to take all necessary measures to further improve its services, ensuring that the council remains a cornerstone for community conflict resolution.
