GHAZI, Jan 15 (APP):The district administration of Haripur Wednesday successfully organized the inaugural “Ghazi Gala” in Sub-Division Ghazi, showcasing the region’s agricultural and community enterprise potential through an exhibition of 48 stalls.
The event prominently highlighted Ghazi’s agricultural heritage, with 16 stalls dedicated to the region’s renowned oranges, celebrated for their exceptional quality. These stalls underscored the citrus fruit’s status as a symbol of the district’s agricultural excellence.
Private companies took center stage at 13 stalls, where they unveiled cutting-edge agricultural products and innovative technologies designed to enhance farming efficiency. In addition, nine banks participated, offering financial solutions and support to empower local farmers.
Government departments also made their presence felt, with four stalls showcasing modern initiatives aimed at advancing the agricultural sector and ensuring sustainable growth. Meanwhile, the University of Haripur contributed six stalls, providing academic and technical insights into sustainable farming practices, reflecting its commitment to promoting innovative agricultural methods.
The Ghazi Gala served as a dynamic platform for collaboration among stakeholders, celebrating the district’s agricultural potential and paving the way for future advancements.
