ISLAMABAD, Mar 9 (APP):Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair Friday said the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government was paying special attention to metropolitan city Karachi and Sindh province as as a number of development projects were being funded by the the federal government there.
Talking to a private news channel, he said performance of the provincial government and elected representatives of Sindh had been very disappointing during past ten years.
He said the PML-N government was also working on a package for Karachi in consultation with all stakeholders.
The governor said, there was a huge gap if one compared pace of development work done in the Punjab and Sindh provinces.
He said the federal government had proper infrastructure development plan, provision of water, health and education facilities and to revive industrial development in economic hub of the country.
To a question, Muhammad Zubair said the PML-N was consulting with its allies and Muttahida Qaumi Movement as well for bringing its candidate for Senate Chairman position.
