CFC starts operations in DI Khan city

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jan 11 (APP):Good news for the people of Dera Ismail Khan City, Sada-e-Aman Khidmat Markaz, the Citizen Facilitation Center (CFC) has started functioning in Dera city, the people of all union councils of the city will be able to benefit from this center.
Coordinator, Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Tehwar Abbas, while giving details of the Sada-e-Aman program in a statement on Saturday, said that under this program, the Government of Pakistan was continuing an awareness campaign on maternal and child health and better nutrition in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for which, the Citizen Facilitation Center had been started in DI Khan City at Nadra Mega Center.
Now the people of Dera City do not need to travel in far-flung areas, but for their convenience, The Citizen Facilitation Center has been established in the city, he said .
 Under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Digital Initiative, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with World Bank, NADRA, Economic Affair Division Islamabad has established Citizen Facilitation Centers in various  districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Citizen Facilitation Centers envision the digital transformation to improve the citizens’ quality of life and economic well-being by ensuring the availability of modern, affordable, and reliable digital services.
 The services also include growth monitoring of children for malnutrition ,immunization services and referral of complicated cases. The Citizen Facilitation Centers (CFCs) are one-stop service centers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) that provide government services to citizens. The CFCs are intended to improve the accessibility, efficiency, and transparency of public services.
Facilities like Issuance of national identity cards, national identity card for overseas Pakistanis, child registration certificates, family registration certificates, Child Birth Registration, NICOP, Juvenile Card,  ATM facilities, E-Sahulat, Child Wellness Grant and payment of utility bills can be acquired by the general public under single roof.
Mothers of children below two years of age should visit the center with their children and get Rs. 2500 for attending each session. A total of five sessions can earn Rs. 12500. Apart from this The Citizen Facilitation Centers are also working in Ratta Kalachi, Paharpur, Daraban, Darazinda, Kulachi, Parova , people of these areas can visit these centers and benefit from the program, he added .
 Locals also praised the efforts, “we had a lot of problem before. We use to travel in far-flung areas for Birth, marriage registration, E-Sahulat and other necessary documentation but now we can have all these facilities under a single roof. Citizen Facilitation Centers also provides comfortable and decent environment.” Said a visitor to the CFC.
