COAS visits Corps HQs, Malir Garrison

KARACHI, Mar 01 (APP):COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday visited Corps Headquarters Karachi and Malir Garrison.
A press release issued by ISPR said, at Corps HQs the COAS
was given update on security situation of the province especially
Karachi and operational preparedness of the Corps.
The COAS hailed performance of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) in
maintaining improved security in the metropolis.
He remarked that peace in the economic hub of the country
is vital for security and stability of Pakistan.
He said that the efforts will continue to maintain normalcy
in Karachi and the province.
Later, COAS addressed officers of Malir Garrison.
He appreciated the officers for their professional excellence
towards defence and security of the country.
