Inter-provincial games from March 19

LAHORE, Feb 26 (APP):All-out cooperation will be extended to the Punjab contingent to prepare on solid lines to defend the title in the upcoming 4th Inter-Provincial Games scheduled to be held at Peshawar from March 18-20.
This was stated by Director Admin Sports Board Punjab Javed Rasheed Chohan while chairing an important meeting of Provincial SportsAssociations at National Hockey Stadium, here on Monday.
Addressing the meeting Javed Rasheed Chohan said Punjab will be represented by 300-member contingent in 28 male and female disciplines of the games. “Punjab contingent will improve its tally of medals in the forthcoming games. Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan has vowed to provide every kind of assistance and cooperation for the holding of mega event in befitting manner,” he elaborated.
“As per the directions of Secretary Sports Punjab , eight-day training camp will be conducted for the preparation of Punjab contingent at different venues,” he added.
The meeting was attended by Secretary , Pakistan Olympic Association, Haji Khalid Mehmood, Punjab Olympic Association Secretary Idris Haider Khawaja, Deputy Director Hafeez Bhatti and representatives of all Punjab sports associations.
Punjab Olympic Association Secretary Idris Haider Khawaja briefed the meeting about the preparations of Punjab contingent.
