Pakistan Army Medical Corp organizes ‘Gift of Life’ golf tournament

RAWALPINDI, Feb 24 (APP):Pakistan Army Medical Corps has organized a ‘Gift of Life’ golf tournament here to highlight importance and awareness about ‘Deceased Donor Programme’( Liver, Kidney and Eye).
According to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations Saturday, the Surgeon General Pakistan Army on the occasion apprised the audience about the programme.
Thousands of lives are lost every year on account of organ failure and scarcity of potential donors. Within the framework of Human Organ Transplant Authority, the Deceased Donor Programme will save precious lives. Pakistan Army Medical Corps plans to carry forward the programme at national level through integrated execution.
