ISLAMABAD, Dec 10 (APP): Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain on Tuesday highlighted Pakistan’s unwavering dedication to regional cooperation on SAARC Charter Day.

Speaking at the event, he emphasized the need for collective action to achieve the shared vision of People, Peace, and Prosperity, said a news release.

The minister underscored the potential of SAARC as a platform for economic collaboration, particularly in industries such as textiles.

“A SAARC-wide textile initiative can boost competitiveness, diversify markets, and create jobs across the region,” he remarked.

He also called for urgent measures to address shared challenges, including poverty, climate change, and geopolitical tensions, through unified efforts.

Rana Tanveer Hussain urged the convening of the 19th SAARC Summit without delay, stressing the importance of fostering trust and enhancing regional trade and investment.

“Together, we can transform South Asia into a global economic powerhouse,” he concluded.

Pakistan continues to champion the SAARC vision, committing to work for a brighter, more prosperous future for the region.
