FAISALABAD, Dec 02 (APP):Water & Sanitation Agency (WASA) has recovered more than Rs.8.774 million in addition to detaching water supply and sewerage connections of 187 chronic defaulters during November 2024.
WASA spokesman said here on Monday that Managing Director WASA Amer Aziz had issued necessary directions to Revenue Directorates to take strict action against the chronic defaulters and ensure full recovery of WASA dues.
Hence, the WASA officers took action against the defaulters and recovered Rs.8.774 million besides detaching 187 connections during November 2024.
He said that Rs.4.982 million was recovered by Eastern Directorate whereas Rs.3.792 million was recovered by Western Directorate. Similarly, 86 connections were detached in East Zone and 101 connections in West Zone, spokesman added.
