PESHAWAR, Nov 13 (APP):Chief Secretary (CS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nadeem Aslam Chaudhary chairing a meeting of secretaries directed departments to utilize technology for effective implementation of File Tracking System and achieve goal of paperless governance.
The meeting among others was attended by Senior Member Board of Revenue, Additional Chief Secretary Home Department, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Department and Additional Advocate General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
On the occasion, meeting was briefed by Director of the Performance Management and Reforms Unit (PMRU) who presented departmental performance assessment covering the last three months under multiple performance indicators.
Suggestions were also discussed for strengthening governance and enhancing public service delivery system to benefit citizens effectively.
A detailed presentation was also given on various issues including Task Management System, File Tracking System within government departments and solving public grievances highlighted through Citizen Portal and Khuli Katcheris.
Emphasizing the importance of timely problem resolution and administrative efficiency, the Chief Secretary said that negligence in addressing public grievances would not be tolerated. He directed departments to continue proactive measures in this regard.
He further directed that all secretaries ensure compliance with assigned responsibilities under Rules of Business within their departments.
