QUETTA, Feb 10 (APP):Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Quddus Bizenjo said on Saturday law and order situation has improved tremendously in Balochistan including Quetta.
He expressed these views while addressing police officials at police line station in Quetta here today. Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti and IG Police Balochistan Moazzam Jha Insari were also present on the occasion.
The CM said that Pakistan and Baluchistan’s people and institutions are prepared to deal with terrorism, ingenious enemies take advantage of our religious and social weaknesses to conspire to their respective goals.
The CM said that government will fail all such conspiracies with the help of the people, our motivation is high, and therefore the enemies will not succeed.
The CM said that the sacrifices given by Balochistan Police officers in the fight against terrorism
would be remembered forever.
He said that arming balochistan police with modern training and investigatory tools would improve
law and order situation. Although we have limited resources but Balochistan government will meet all the needs of the police department
Chief Minister Balochistan on this occasion announced Rs.5 million Revolving
fund, upgradation of police BHU to 30 beds hospital, 200 motorcycles for Eagle Scout,
Computer and science labs for male and female sections, six permanent vacancies
for training instructors for Police Grammar school, provision of new roll of
law for special branches and traffic police departments, construction and
renovation of police station buildings including 28 development projects for Officers
of police department said that implementation on all these measures will be
ensured soon.
He said that police officers will be provided special bullet proof vehicles to carry out their
duties.
He said that treatment of injured personnel of the police will be customized abroad,
including Agha Khan Hospital.
Chief Minister Balochistan also heard the problems of police officers and large number of police officers submitted their applications to CM Balochistan.
Chief Minister Balochistan assured that all possible measures would be taken to resolve the
problems faced by police officers.
