Muqam criticizes PTI for awarding senate tickets to billionaires

PESHAWAR, Feb 08 (APP):Adviser to Prime Minister and Provincial President PMLN, Engr. Ameer Muqam Thursday said that awarding of senate ticket to a veteran party worker has proved that PMLN leadership respects their
loyal friends and believes in policy of merit.
Talking to media after a meeting with party MPAs at his residence, he said workers are precious asset of the party and awarding senate ticket to Pir Sabir Shah depicts the respect of party leadership towards their loyal and old workers.
He said that contrary to the merit policy of PMLN, those who raised slogans of upholding values and principles have given senate tickets to billionaires ignoring wishes and aspirations of their workers.
He said that all these efforts meant to pave way for horse trading.
Muqam criticized PTI saying its leadership has ignored merit and awarded tickets to outsiders and billionaires.
He also appreciated MPAs for supporting decisions of party leadership regarding senate elections.
He also lauded MPA Gohar Nawaz for joining PMLN and said that it would strengthen the party in Haripur.
Speaking on the occasion, Pir Sabir Shah reposed confidence on Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and said that he would try his best to come up to the expectations party leadership.
