Justice Muhammad Yawar Ali takes oath as LHC CJ

LAHORE, Feb 07 (APP):Lahore-1Justice Muhammad Yawar Ali on
Wednesday took oath as 46th Chief Justice of the Lahore High
Court (LHC) at a simple but impressive ceremony here at
Governor’s House.
Governor Punjab Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana
administered the oath. Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad
Shehbaz Sharif,Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal,LHC Judges,
provincial ministers,vice chairman Pakistan Bar Council,
presidents and office bearers of Lahore High Court Bar
Association and Lahore Bar Association,provincial & federal
law officers and a host of legal luminaries graced the
occasion.The participants congratulated the newly
appointed Chief Justice.
Later,on arrival at LHC after the oath ceremony,as per
tradition, a guard of honour was presented to the Chief Justice
by a smartly dressed police contingent.Judges and court
officials welcomed and felicitated the Chief Justice,LHC.
