Lok Virsa to launch a set of cultural programmes DVDs tomorrow
ISLAMABAD, Jan 30 (APP):The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa) would launch a set of seven DVDs of its cultural programmes on Wednesday.
The ceremony will also include a special musical performance by Azhar Hussain Jaffery and group, said a press statement issued here Tuesday.
Executive Director Lok Virsa Dr. Fouzia Saeed, Secretary National Press Club Islamabad Shakeel Anjub and a large number of people from different walks of life would attend the event.
Lok Virsa is one of the largest publishers of the traditional music and culture, it said adding that it also edited, complied and produced a set of 36 cultural documentaries and over 500 audio cassette labels of nation’s cultural heritage.
