LAHORE, Oct 14 (APP):The operations of the district administration are going on to destroy dengue larvae and the larvae were recovered from 2013 places of the city during the last 24 hours.
During checking, larvae were recovered from 1952 indoor and 61 outdoor places, while 42209 places were inspected and 46 cases were registered for violation of SOPs.
Dengue surveillance teams also checked 4,14614 containers. Assistant Commissioner Shalimar Anam Fatima reviewed the dengue surveillance in UC 38 and 38. While reviewing the dengue case-response and micro-plan, Anam Fatima directed the dengue teams of Shalimar to ensure checking of rooftops.
Deputy Commissioner Lahore in this connection says that the administrative officers are strictly monitoring the dengue field workers. He further directed to not allow water to accumulate in the roofs, courtyards and air-coolers of urban houses.
