Rescue 1122 holds first aid training workshop at UVAS

PATTOKI, Oct 11 (APP):Rescue 1122 organized a training workshop at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Ravi Campus (UVAS) in Pattoki, Friday.
According to official sources, the workshop was held on the special instructions of Dr. Rizwan Naseer, the Secretary of the Punjab Emergency Services and Dr. Nayer Alam, the District Emergency Officer of Kasur.
Hundreds of students including rescue instructors from Tehsil Pattoki, Choniyan and Kotradhakshan as well as university lecturers participated in the seminar and workshop organized by Rescue 1122 Tehsil Patokki.
The purpose of the training workshop was to prepare a trained first-aider in every home to provide medical aid to affected patients before the arrival of rescue teams.
The participants received practical training on artificial resuscitation, heart and breathing and stopping excessive bleeding in case of accidents or injuries.
There was also a heart and breathing competition among the university students where they performed CPR for 15 minutes.
The training workshop by Rescue 1122 was welcomed by the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences.
