President, CJCSC discuss security matters

ISLAMABAD, Jan 25 (APP):President Mamnoon Hussain Thursday expressed satisfaction over the operational preparedness of the armed forces and said Pakistan’s defence was in strong hands and the armed forces of Pakistan were fully prepared to counter any aggression.
He was talking to Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat NI (M) who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
The joint chiefs of staff committee chairman briefed the president on defence and security matters of the country.
He apprised him the country’s armed forces were fully alert and ready for defence of the country.
Matters relating to National Defence University were also discussed during the meeting.
