LAHORE, Oct 09 (APP):Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari has said that thousands of tractors and “Kissan Cards” are being distributed to farmers in Punjab who are satisfied with the performance of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
She said the CM Punjab will soon launch a solar panel project for the less privileged people.
She said that providing relief to the people of KPK is not the priority of the Gandapur’s government. She expressed these views while responding to a statement by Muzzammil Aslam.
She said the KP government doesn’t even have a mechanism to provide affordable Roti to its people.
She further added that Maryam Nawaz has already started implementing the “Kissan Package” for farmers. The fact that millions of farmers are applying for the tractor scheme and “Kissan Card” shows their trust in Maryam Nawaz. Under the tractor scheme, thousands of tractors are being distributed, and 150,000 “Kissan Cards” are being issued, she added.
Maryam Nawaz provided “Sasti Roti” and flour to the people of Punjab in just few months after she became CM Punjab, and her government also gave a relief of 55 billion rupees in electricity bills to the people of Punjab, Azma Bokhari said.
She also pointed out that the KP government doesn’t even have the funds to pay salaries to government employees or run educational institutions. They don’t have funds for the welfare of KPK, but they have all the resources for protests, rallies, and sit-ins, the minister added.
