PESHAWAR, Oct 01 (APP):Provincial Minister for Local Government (LG), Arshad Ayub Khan on Tuesday chaired a meeting to discuss matters relating to use land and properties owned by Auqaf department.
The meeting was attended by Secretary LG, Daud Shah, Secretary Auqaf, Adil Sadiq, Secretary Local Council Board, Wahed-ur-Rehman and concerned officials.
The meeting discussed lease of 100 shops constructed in Charsadda by Tehsil Municipal Administration on graveyard land and the lease agreement of a public park situated in Gulbahar.
The minister directed to submit a letter to Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) to prepare a report for ascertaining various legal aspects of both these places. He said decision would be taken in best interests of people after reviewing the report of SMBR.
