Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI, Sep 27 (APP):Shipping activity was report at the port where five ships, Teno, San-Francisco Bridge, Solar Roma, Maya Gas-1 and Oslo Eagle carrying Container, Palm oil, LPG and Coal,berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively on Thursday.    Meanwhile three more ships, Sunda, Amir Gas and Victoria Kosan scheduled to load/offload Cement, LPG and Chemicals are also arrived at outer anchorage port on same day.        A total of eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Teno and San-Francisco Bridge left the port on today morning, while another Liquid Petroleum Gas carrier ‘Maya Gas-1’ is expected to sail on today after noon.
Cargo volume of 112,117 tonnes, comprising 83,008 tonnes imports cargo and 29,109 tonnes export cargo carried in 3,966 Containers (2,528 TEUs Imports& 1,438 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 09 ships at Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Clipper Trent and Amir Gas & two more ships, X-Press Anglesey and CMA CGM Cendrillion are scheduled to load/offload Cement, LPG and Containers are expected to take berths at MW-1, EVTL and QICT respectively on today 27th September, Meanwhile two more container ships, Zhong Gu Bo Hai and Apollon-D are due to arrive at port on Saturday.
