KARACHI, Sep 25 (APP):Shipping activity was report at the port where four ships, MSC Maeva, Bentley-I, Al-Deebal and Scarabe carrying Container, Palm oil, LNG and Coal,berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, Engro Elengy Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively on Thursday.
Meanwhile two more ships, Clipper Trent and Hafnia Express scheduled to load/offload Rice and Gas oil are also arrived at outer anchorage port during last 24 hours.
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a containers ship ‘MSC Maeva’ left the port on today morning, while three more ships, Maersk Durban, Roberta and Kition-M are expected to sail on today.
Cargo volume of 252,801 tonnes, comprising 201,613 tonnes imports cargo and 51,188 tonnes export cargo carried in 5,420 Containers (2,529 TEUs Imports& 2,891 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 05 ships at Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Forza Roma and Hafnia Express & three more ships, SSL Brahmaputra, Cape Andreas and Maersk Cape Town are scheduled to load/offload Rice, Gas oil and Container are expected to take berths at FAP, FOTCO and QICT respectively on today,Meanwhile two more container ships, Teno and San Francisco Bridge are due to arrive at port on Thursday.
