KARACHI, Sep 11 (APP):Seven ships, MSC Surabaya-VIII, Maersk Nyassa, Maersk Hartford, MSC Capetown-III, Da Heng Shan, Simaisma and Al-Diab-II scheduled to load/offload Container, Bitumen, LNG and LPG, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal, Engro Elengy Terminal and Sui Southern Gas Terminal respectively on Tuesday.
Meanwhile two more ships, Ab Serena and Lusail with Chemicals and LNG are arrived at outer anchorage port on Wednesday.
Forty ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, MSC Surabaya-VIII and Diamond Globe left the port on today morning, while eight more ships, Maersk Hartford, Maersk Nyassa, MSC Capetwon-III, Eva Hong Kong, Sea Destiny, Ncc Bader, Al-Diab-II and Au-Taurus are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Cargo volume of 277,674 tonnes, comprising 200,007 tonnes imports cargo and 77,667 tonnes export cargo carried in 7,779 Containers (3,992 TEUs Imports& 3,787 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
Ten ships at Outer Anchorage of Port Qasim, out of them six ships, HPC Vision, New Levant, Torm Malaysia, Khairpur, Mayagas-1 and Lusail & three more ships, Cl Anzi He, Marathopolis and CMA CGM La Scala carrying Fertilizer, PEAS, Palm oil, Mogas, LPG, LNG, Coal and Container are expected to take berths at FAP, LCT, FOTCO, EVTL, PGPCL, PIBT and QICT respectively on Wednesday.
Meanwhile another containers ship ‘ONE Recommendation’ is due to arrive at port on Thursday.
