LAHORE, Sep 04 (APP):Scattered light rain was observed in various city areas on Wednesday while the MET office predicted similar weather conditions in the city during the next 24 hours.
The MET officials said a low pressure area was approaching southeast Sindh while a shallow westerly wave was present over upper parts of the country. They predicted that mainly hot and dry weather was expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thundershower was likely at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, southeastern Sindh, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.
Rainfall was recorded at several cities across the country.
Wednesday’s highest temperature was recorded at Nokkundi where mercury reached 41°C while in Lahore it was 33.4°C and minimum was 23.8°C.
