FISALABAD, Aug 19 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Cap (R) Nadeem Nasir reached different areas of the city on Monday morning to review the cleaning operation.
He visited Chowk Ghanta Ghar, its adjacent eight bazaars, circular road and streets. He checked the presence of cleaning staff on duty. The Deputy Commissioner said that the provision of a neat and clean environment to the citizens is a priority, so the Waste Management Company should fulfill its responsibilities in an efficient manner.
He said that citizens should also cooperate with waste workers and put the garbage into dustbins or hand it over to the sanitary staff, instead of throwing it in open areas, streets, manholes and WASA channels.
The Deputy Commissioner also visited the Saddhar vegetable market, Jhang Road, early in the morning and supervised the bidding process of vegetables and fruits.
He checked the supply record and urged the officers of the market committee to remain present on the bidding points to monitor the bidding process.
