LAHORE, Aug 13 (APP):Thousands of faithful participated in the Isha prayer led by Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair, the Imam of Masjid-e-Nabawi (PBUH), at Hassan Masjid Jamia Ashrafia, here on Tuesday.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channer, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Nawaf Bin Saeed Al Malaki, Pakistan Ulema Council Chairman Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Allam Hasham Elahi Zaheer and eminent personalities from all walks of life also offered the prayer.
In the sermon after the prayer, Sheikh Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair expressed best wishes for Pakistan’s development and prosperity. He highlighted the importance of obeying Allah Almighty and His Messenger (PBUH). He stressed on spreading peace and called for avoiding divisiveness. He emphasized the unity of the Muslim Ummah and prayed for the peace, stability and unity of the Muslim Ummah.
He specifically prayed for the development and prosperity of the country’s religious institutions, such as Jaima Ashrafia, and encouraged the youth to pursue religious education.
Earlier, upon arrival at the Jamia Ashrafia, Imam Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair received a warm welcome by Maulana Fazal-ur-Raheem Ashrafi and other religious leaders of Jamia Ashrafia.
