CS congratulates nation on Independence Day

PESHAWAR, Aug 13 (APP): Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nadeem Aslam Chaudhary has congratulated nation on 77th Independence Day of Pakistan and said that on this occasion, we must remember the sacrifices of our forefathers to create a separate homeland for the Muslims of Subcontinent.
In a message here Tuesday, the Chief Secretary said, August 14th is a monumental day in our history that reminds us of the unparalleled struggle and sacrifices made by all Muslims who participated in the Pakistan Movement.
The creation of an independent homeland is result of the tireless efforts of Quaid-e-Azam and the fulfillment of Allama Iqbal’s dream. On Independence Day, we salute all those Pakistanis who made countless sacrifices for the nation and homeland and those who protected the ideological and geographical boundaries of the country with their blood, he said.
The Chief Secretary August 14th is a day to renew our commitment to making Pakistan an exemplary welfare state. We must promote mutual cooperation and goodwill within society.
