RAWALPINDI, Aug 13 (APP):Punjab Emergency Services Department Rescue 1122 Murree will remain on high alert on the occasion of Independence Day.
Under the direction of Secretary Emergency Services/DG Rescue, Punjab Dr. Rizwan Naseer and Deputy Commissioner Murree Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, the staff of Rescue 1122 are performing their duties while remaining on high alert throughout the district.
According to the details, District Emergency Officer, Engineer Kamran Rashid has said that more than 280 rescuers and volunteers have been deployed across the district. Moreover, 16 ambulances, 20 motorbikes, seven fire vehicles, two rescue vehicles and two recovery vehicles have been deployed across the district.
He said that six rescue posts have been established in Murree city especially covering the busy Mall Road. Rescuers will provide routine emergencies and patient transfer services besides emergency cover.
Spokesman Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi, Muhammad Usman informed APP that the personnel were on duty at all tourist spots across the district. In case of any emergency, dial 1122 for immediate assistance, he added.
